Many conservative talking-heads are declaring that the War on Women is a smoke screen, a diversion tactic, created by the liberal agenda to mask the "real" issues. My question is, if the War on Women is a smoke screen, how do you explain the 162 legislative attacks on women in 2011 alone? This legislation was, almost without exception, authored, and sponsored by Republicans. How did the Liberal agenda manipulate all those Republicans into this? They didn't, of course.
The War on Women is a very real issue. Absolutely concrete. And if the Republicans don't want the War on Women to be an issue, then they need to stop making it an issue. Simple as that.
